He can’t say anything. There’s this indescribable feeling of absolute incredibility. He can’t even remember whatever they were, but still he stays and just…loves him. He can only bite his lip and cross his arms, a protective gesture to himself. 

There was no possible memory there, but there were feelings. You couldn’t fight those. He literally didn’t go away, trying to remind him who he was. He hugged him back tightly.

Charlie purred deeply, burying his face in Felix’s neck, wings fluttering again. He was perfectly happy to stay like that for the rest of the night.
