AU in which Muse A and Muse B meet at the hospital, both being patients and terminally ill. They become friends and talk about all and sundry all day long. When they get to the point of dreams and regrets they both realize that their biggest regret is to never have experienced true love, marriage or having children. They are both single and they both know they could die in six months, two weeks, tomorrow.
So they agree to get married and spend their last days together, no matter how many of those are left.

Bonus (if you’re not sad enough already): Muse A dies before the wedding takes place.
